BeMyCareBroker.com

BeMyCareBroker.com is a website designed to bring together those requiring care and support with social care professionals and providers of relevant services and associated products.

Users are able to securely manage their personal finances and search for suppliers of care products and services in their area, as well as accessing useful documents and factsheets from Local Authorities.

The site also allows Service Users to search for and shortlist care homes and arrange visits via comprehensive listings. If they prefer, they can locate and appoint a broker to carry out the process of finding and arranging the care services they require.

The project involved avdanced Mirosoft ASP.NET programming along with complex database and e-commerce integration.

Experian - Commercial Autoscore

OBS Group worked with live|work, a company that specialises in Service Design, to produce a prototype of a new corporate credit scoring system for Experian. The prototype was intended to demonstrate the full functionality of the system to internal stakeholders as well as potential customers and so had to have a fully functional user interface, even though the data and backend processing logic was not in place.

Live|work designed the user interface and OBS where responsible for implementing it using advanced XHTML and CSS as well as JQuery.

OBS also developed a database backend to the system using Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to support the dynamic data requirements of the prototype.

EightSquare

EIGHTsq is a "unique interiors haven" based in fashionable Spitalfields in London’s East End.

EIGHTsq approached OBS to take the magic of the shop and transfer it online to sell their goods to new and existing customers who live too far away to visit the Spitalfields shop regularly.

Our designers produced a sophisticated design to showcase EIGHTsq’s products and our developers an advanced integrated e-commerce system allowing customers to easily locate and view products and add them to their shopping basket.

Behind the scenes OBS created an extensive content management system for the shop as well as a stock and order tracking system. EIGHTsq administrators can easily manage all activity within the online shop as well as making amends to the products shown and their categories and the publishing of special offers.

British Airways

The British Airways Assessment website provides the Ability Testing and Personality Assessment components of a Candidate's application for a position with British Airways.

The website is setup to receive Candidates seamlessly from the existing front-end job application website, where they start their application process, assess them, and then pass them seamlessly back to that recruitment website. In order to make this possible this project makes extensive use of Web Service technology for passing data between the two applications.

Rich reporting on Candidates' performance on the assessments is passed back to the recruitment application website in Microsoft Word format for use in subsequent job interviews.

British Airways

Informa PLC - Enterprise Risk

The Enterprise Risk website is an online version of the Informa Enterprise Risk Magazine, providing information for risk managers.

Visitors to the site can register for a two-week trial subscription or they can sign up for instant access to searchable material from current and archive issues of the magazine. The site displays advertising which may be assigned to different areas of the site. The homepage includes a profile section, features section, news headlines and a spot-poll. There is also a Directory of Services section which enables users to view the details of companies which offer services relevant to Enterprise Risk subscribers.

Strengths Partnership Limited - Strengthscope

Strengthscope is an assessment tool that provides a comprehensive measurement of an individual's strengths and talents and the extent to which these are productively applied at work. The site also gathers multi-rater feedback from work colleagues and key persons outside of work on the extent to which the person’s strengths are demonstrated through their actions.

Strengthscope can report at the level of the individual, or a number of individuals can be grouped together into a team. Reports are downloaded in .PDF format and show complex diagrams and charts indicating the individual or team’s strengths and the level to which these are being used within the working environment.

Waltham Forest Borough Council

Waltham Forest Borough Council had a requirement to produce a "Google Earth" style tour of the borough combined with other integrated features resulting in a professionally produced DVD. The DVD was to be used as part of their Corporate Assessment inspection and for other ongoing presentational purposes.

OBS Group project managed the process and were responsible for producing the Google Earth tour KMZ file which the finished DVD was based on. OBS Group also created 3D models of a number of key buildings in the borough which were added to the Google Earth tour to highlight their position in the borough.

OBS Group then worked in collaboration with Michael Moloney Studio who produced a professionally finished DVD with animation, voice over and sound effects.

Plumbline Test Company Limited - Plumbline Tests

The Plumbline Test Company provides an easy to use, cost effective, quick, accurate and fair psychometric selection system to all organisations regardless of their size.

The Plumbline Test project includes a number of interesting features, including a job profiling section which allows users to specify the optimum points on scales between different styles of personality for the job they are profiling. The site also includes online payment for clients and a number of complex feedback reports for selection, development or presentation to the respondent. At the point of report download, the respondent’s scores can be adjusted based on a comparison group from a similar working background.

Plumbline Test Company Limited - Plumbline Tests

JohnsonDiversey UK Limited - JD Training Solutions

JohnsonDiversey Training Solutions is dedicated customer support site which provides bespoke cleaning related support material. Employees of JohnsonDiversey’s customers can log in to the site and download dynamically generated multilingual task cards in (currently available in fifteen languages), product training cards, published material on specialist cleaning applications, cleaning schedules & wall charts and safety data sheets.

JohnsonDiversey can configure new task cards with language translations, manage customer and user accounts and download customer usage reports themselves.
