Informa PLC - i-law.com

Informa is the largest publicly-owned organiser of conferences and courses in the world with an output of over 10,000 events annually. They publish over 2,000 subscription-based information services including academic journals, real-time news and structured databases of commercial intelligence and their book business has more than 40,000 titles in print.

Informa were re-launching their flagship legal portal "i-law" and needed the expertise of OBS Group for the design and HTML development of the new site. OBS Group worked closely in consultation with Informa to formulate the right design for the new site. Our dedicated HTML and CSS developers then created fully compliant pages that were passed to Informa's in-house back-end developers.

The collaboration allowed Informa to use their own in-house developers supported by OBS Group's design and HTML/CSS creation skills, to produce a greatly improved finished website.

Waltham Forest Borough Council

Waltham Forest Borough Council had a requirement to produce a "Google Earth" style tour of the borough combined with other integrated features resulting in a professionally produced DVD. The DVD was to be used as part of their Corporate Assessment inspection and for other ongoing presentational purposes.

OBS Group project managed the process and were responsible for producing the Google Earth tour KMZ file which the finished DVD was based on. OBS Group also created 3D models of a number of key buildings in the borough which were added to the Google Earth tour to highlight their position in the borough.

OBS Group then worked in collaboration with Michael Moloney Studio who produced a professionally finished DVD with animation, voice over and sound effects.

The Neutral Group

The Neutral Group is a supply chain and logistics carbon consultancy. One of the services they offer is a Carbon Footprint Assessment. This assessment is conducted online using a surveying tool designed and built by OBS Group specifically for this task.

The online application allows TNG's clients to track their carbon footprint over time across one or more locations. The website gathers important data from each location. From this it calculates the location's breakdown of CO₂ emissions over the previous quarter.

The application automatically generates rich PDF based reports detailing CO₂ emissions which are sent to TNG's clients. In addition to this TNG can construct complex queries to export data from the system for offline analysis.

Marina Colonna s.r.l.

The Colonna Estate is an olive grove in southern Italy which produces high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Citrus Oils, Olives and Tomato Sauces for retail in up-market delicatessens and supermarkets throughout Europe and further afield.

Marina Colona wished to showcase their product range online to potential distributors and end users alike, in addition to providing information about recipes that complement their products.

The layout and design of the site was developed by Michael Moloney Studio who provided us with Adobe Illustrator files to guide us with the HTML development. The site is available in three languages and has been built to meet the latest W3C standards and accessibility guidelines.
