Technical Information - Testing

One of the most important aspects of any development is the amount of testing an application receives before release. OBS Groups believe in rigorous testing throughout the development process, from the component level through to the completed application.

Our comprehensive testing process means that you can rest assured that your project will roll out smoothly and you will not be losing valuable customer opportunities through application failures.

During website development, components are tested as they are built. Upon completion, not only will the functionality be tested but the site will be load-tested and stress-tested too. Websites can show very different behaviours when they are serving high numbers of simultaneous users. These behaviours can range from slow response times in certain areas of the site through to more serious problems such as security breaches.

We stress- and load-test all our websites using specialised software. This software is able to simulate thousands of users hitting your site at the same time, which allows us to analyse its performance and discover any potentially undesirable behaviour before it reaches a live environment.

We are so confident of our testing procedures that all our projects come with a 12 month guarantee.
